Over the past decade, I have collaborated with the digital cinema industry using open-source software. This aspect of my post-production career has allowed me to incorporate open-source tools into my professional workflow. I have used Dcpomatic, developed by Carl Hetherington, in conjunction with DaVinci Resolve, for most of my DCP facilitation work.

Between 2016-2017 I was Coordinator in charge of the Film Archive of the National Cinematheque Foundation of Venezuela, And given my experience in the area of Postproduction my contributions focused on preservation processes, including the recommendation of equipment and materials acquisition for Digital Capture and Restoration of films in Film Archive.

In this section, we highlight how we use open source tools like Blender, Gimp, and Krita, along with free software like Canva, Adobe Xpress, and office suites from Google and Microsoft. We also incorporate new AI tools to create and produce digital content for projects like VFX, animations, media, and social networks. Additionally, we offer creative writing, opinion pieces, and poetry.

I have been a blogger and opinion writer for some years now in publications dedicated to cinema and audiovisual communication.
